AL GHALIB FUSES A DOSE OF NEW YORK LIVELIHOOD AND DUBAI NIGHTLIFE TO COPULATE THE CTRL VIDEO OFF HIS RECENTLY RELEASED EP.
Following the success of his singles Tap Dat which features DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) artistes Dremo and Ichaba, with additional vocals from Mayorkun and recently released CTRL which have both raked more than 400 Thousand digital streams, the fast-rising star has released the visuals to the last single off the recently released 6 track debut EP titled:
The GHALIBONAWAVE EP: Vol. 1 #TGEP.
The 6 Track EP is a true reflection of GHALIBONAWAVEs’ multi-dimensional style as it encapsulates a fusion of different genres ranging from hip-hop, dancehall, pop and so on. In a public letter to his fans and supporters, AL GHÄLIB revealed that the inspiration behind “The GHALIBONAWAVE EP” Trilogy was his struggle with depression and anxiety. Stating that the African society continues to remain blind and pay deaf ears to the cries and struggles of mental health in the society, most especially amongst the youth.
The CTRL video which is the second video off the EP was shot in New York and Dubai. The vhs themed video was directed by Demola Falomo, co-directed by AL GHALIB and edited by Esiri.
