“You Can’t Speak For People That Won’t Speak For Themselves” – Vector Tackles Imam Of Peace & Nigerians
The activist, in a series of tweets, castigated President Buhari and his government for poor governance. Due to his response to the coronavirus outbreak to the Boko terrorists in the northern part of the country, the Imam slammed the President and called for his resignation. He later disclosed that Buhari and his people are out for his life. He wrote: “Buhari’s government propaganda doesn’t work against me. Like this tweet if you’re Nigerian and would welcome me at the airport.”
The rapper, however, responded saying that he can not speak for people the won’t speak for themselves. According to him, until the people speak for themselves, his words will continue to be like he is bent on disrespecting the Nigerian government. Vector said that such actions, in his opinion is not a peaceful stance which is the complete opposite of what he preaches.
He wrote: “You can’t speak for people that won’t speak for themselves. You can’t tell us about us more than we know. Until the people speak for themselves, you are just tweeting and sounding like you are aimed at disrespecting the Nigerian govt. that’s not a peaceful stance.”
