Ali Modu Sheriff Denies Accusing Vice President Shettima of Creating Boko Haram
Former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has strongly denied reports circulating online claiming that he accused Vice President Kashim Shettima of creating the terrorist group Boko Haram. Sheriff described the reports as baseless, misleading, and politically orchestrated lies aimed at tarnishing his reputation and causing unnecessary tension in the polity.
In a statement issued by his media office, the former governor clarified that at no time did he make such an accusation against Vice President Shettima.
