Vin Diesel Fights Back Tears While Speaking About Paul Walker’s Daughter
Hollywood actor Vin Diesel became emotional while speaking about the late Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, during a special 25th-anniversary celebration of The Fast and the Furious.
Diesel, who played Dominic Toretto alongside Walker in the blockbuster franchise, struggled to hold back tears as he reflected on his enduring relationship with Meadow and the legacy of his late friend.
Speaking during the anniversary event, Diesel described Paul Walker as much more than a former co-star, repeatedly referring to him as a brother.
The actor’s emotional reaction became particularly noticeable when the conversation turned to Meadow, who attended the celebration and has remained closely connected to the Fast & Furious family since her father’s death.
Diesel has maintained a close relationship with Meadow over the years. He is also her godfather and famously walked her down the aisle at her 2021 wedding.

At the 25th-anniversary celebration, he spoke about how meaningful it was to have her present as a continuation of Paul’s legacy. He became visibly emotional as he spoke about her and the memory of her father.
Meadow has also continued to honour her father’s legacy through her involvement with the Paul Walker Foundation, which supports ocean and marine conservation initiatives. She also made a cameo appearance in Fast X in 2023.
At the recent Los Angeles anniversary screening, Meadow interacted with fans and even signed a poster featuring her late father.
She has remained an important figure in the Fast & Furious community more than a decade after Paul’s death, helping preserve his connection to the franchise.
Paul Walker died in a car crash in November 2013 at the age of 40. His death profoundly affected Diesel and the rest of the Fast & Furious cast, who have continued to honour his memory throughout the franchise’s subsequent films.
The emotional reunion comes as Diesel prepares to bring the franchise to an end with Fast Forever, the planned final instalment.
Diesel recently revealed that filming is expected to begin in December 2026, with the movie scheduled for release in 2028. He has described the project as a deeply personal conclusion to the saga that began with the original 2001 film.
