The “Thunder Fire You” crooner noted that he was often discouraged for choosing a softer, more melodic sound in a market heavily saturated with uptempo Afrobeats and street anthems. Despite the pushback, Hassani stayed true to his identity, working independently to carve out a niche for himself.
