Falz Drags Governor Sanwo-Olu Over Second Term Re-Election- “You are only deceiving yourselves”
Nigerian hip-hop artist and activist Falz has stirred widespread reactions on social media with his direct reply to the Lagos state governor, Sanwo-Olu.
Following the conclusion of the governorship election in Lagos, the governor had taken to Twitter to thank Lagosians for re-electing him.
Falz directly opposed this statement by calling out the governor, affirming that that wasn’t the case and that the governor had actually gotten back into office because he had selected himself.
He wrote:
“You were not re-elected. You selected yourself. Everybody saw it unfold. You are only deceiving yourselves.”
