Hulk Hogan’s Cause of Death Confirmed as Clearwater Police Close Investigation
Authorities in Clearwater, Florida, have officially concluded their investigation into the death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, confirming that there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.
According to the Clearwater Police Department, the case has been closed and classified as an attended natural death following an extensive review of medical records, witness statements, and other evidence gathered during the investigation.
Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71 after suffering a medical emergency at his home in Clearwater, Florida. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police said investigators found no signs of foul play and no evidence suggesting criminal activity contributed to the WWE Hall of Famer’s death. Authorities thanked Hogan’s family for cooperating throughout the investigation.
Medical findings indicate that Hogan died from natural causes. Reports have identified the immediate cause of death as an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. He also reportedly had underlying health conditions, including atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
