Liverpool Agree Deal to Sign Saint-Étienne Winger Djylian N’Guessan
Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Saint-Étienne teenage forward Djylian N’Guessan, in another move highlighting the club’s focus on securing promising young talent.
The 18-year-old French youth international is expected to remain with Saint-Étienne for the 2026/27 season before completing his move to Liverpool in the summer of 2027. N’Guessan has reportedly been permitted to undergo a medical after the clubs reached an agreement.
N’Guessan is a product of the Saint-Étienne academy, having joined the club at a young age and progressed through its youth system.
He is a versatile forward capable of operating through the middle or on either wing, giving him tactical flexibility. Despite only recently turning 18, he has already made 13 senior appearances for Saint-Étienne.
