
Onyeka Set to Join Bundesliga Club on Loan
Nigerian midfielder Francis Onyeka is on the verge of securing a loan move to Bundesliga newcomers SV Elversberg ahead of the 2026/27 season.
According to reports from Germany, negotiations between SV Elversberg and Bayer 04 Leverkusen are in the final stages, with all parties optimistic that the deal will be completed soon.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder enjoyed an impressive loan spell with VfL Bochum in the 2. Bundesliga last season, scoring eight league goals and establishing himself as one of Germany’s most promising young talents.
SV Elversberg, who secured a historic promotion to the Bundesliga, reportedly see Onyeka as an ideal addition to strengthen their squad as they prepare for life in Germany’s top flight.
